The original written works include novels, illustrated books, and non-fictions, which have been adapted into TV shows, films, and animations.
XMediaMatch (X stands for cross) is the brand of “from book to screen” that publishes IP and market them to the global TV and film industry, so “people who tell stories through images” can discover and meet “people who tell stories through written words.” This platform facilitates crossover cooperation, bridges industries, and explores diverse value-added opportunities for the publishing industry. This brand will become the powerful source of original stories for the cultural and creative industry. The platform enables digital media related to TV and film industry to benefit from the rich energy of IP publication and jointly explore business opportunities.
SELECTION OF ANNUAL BOOKS RECOMMENDED FOR ADAPTATION
Selection opens to all owners of book adaptation rights, including literary and illustrated works. All Chinese publications are encouraged to participate. Those works rich in imagery, creativity, and commercial potential will be selected to attend the matching event.
ORGANIZATION OF PROFESSIONAL MATCHMAKERS WORKSHOP FOR PUBLISHING AND TV AND FILM INDUSTRIES
Inviting elites from varied field with practical experience to share related issues and professional know-hows of adapting books into TV shows, films, and video games, so that publishers understand the needs of the TV and film industry, as well as the criteria for selecting themes, enhancing professional capabilities and marketing skills of the publishing industry in the area of crossover cooperation.
ORGANIZATION OF BUSINESS MATCHING EVENTS FOR PUBLISHING AND TV AND FILM INDUSTRIES
IP owners and publishers of annual books recommended for adaptation will be granted priorities to participate in the events, related IP representatives will also be invited. The events will also invite representatives of domestic and overseas TV stations, OTT, film, animation, and game industries, as well as potential buyers to engage in one-on-one meetings with the publishers.
PARTICIPATION IN INTERNATIONAL TV AND FILM EXHIBITIONS
IP owners and publishers of annual books recommended for adaptation will be invited to participate in international TV and film exhibitions, showcasing Taiwanese IP on the global stage, attracting overseas business opportunities.
